Very frustrating. However, I did update the Kindle for Mac to 1.15.0, and now I Kindle won't even stay open - keeps 'quitting unexpectedly'. It stays open long enough for me to see that it's downloaded 300+ books and is trying to get the other 400+.
I've already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. No difference, as far as I can tell. Other issues that strike me as odd, although I doubt they're related: • For whatever reasons, the Mac App store only has the Kindle for Mac 1.12.4 version, not 1.15.0. I'm not sure if downloading from Amazon, rather than from the Mac store, may be behind the problem. • Another issue, probably unrelated but who knows: download speeds seem very slow.

Editing the metadata (title, genre etc) is only a case of showing up in button for the device bar, and keying in the adjustments. You can select multiple books and change them in bulk also, for instance when you need to regroup some publications in a genre that is definitely particular.

I love Kindle and Audible and I hate to give it a bad review but on Mac, this app is garbage.
