The Acer Graphics Dock is the only such device I could find, as it achieves a very small form-factor (less than 3cm thick, roughly the size of a 10' netbook overall), by using a mobile GPU. Being all-in-one it cost barely more than the graphics card itself, as opposed to most currently available solutions, which are both multiple times the volume and cost at least the same before even adding a graphics card. Sadly it isn't carried by any vendors anymore, and even if it were, having to buy a new notebook to get a TB3 port in the first place, I wouldn't buy it with a mere 960M anymore.
